K-Pop and Modern Korean Culture: A Global Phenomenon

About this event

Join the Office of Global Engagement on Wednesday, November 18, from 3 to 4 p.m. for an exciting journey into the global phenomenon of K-Pop and modern Korean culture!

Whether you're a longtime K-Pop fan or simply curious about Korean culture, come explore Korea from right here in Building 71, Room 141 in Pensacola!

Learn from instructor Colleen Campbell, a Pensacola native who has spent 16 years serving as a Korean linguist in the United States Air Force. She began studying in 2009 at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and has lived in Korea for six years. Outside of work, Colleen enjoys discovering obscure historical facts and sharing her love of the Korean language with anyone who will listen.
