- ➤ Beulah Regional Park will close temporarily starting Tuesday, Jan. 20 for new amenities including pickleball courts, ADA updates and drainage fixes with reopening expected mid-March, and the adjacent Beulah Senior Citizen Center will remain open while receiving upgrades like a new basketball court. - ➤ Pensacola Sings offers free weekly music rehearsals for about 50 elementary and high school students at community centers in Escambia County. - ➤ Escambia Children's Trust has suspended funding and its contract for the HOOPS program because the DJJ is investigating an incident and deficiencies were found in background screening documentation (a precautionary measure that does not imply wrongdoing).
