- ➤ Pensacola will host the Pickles and Wings Family Festival on Saturday, May 16 from 10 AM to 8 PM at Seville Square and Bartram Park. The free event features food trucks, contests, live performances, and kid-friendly attractions. Local Pulse
- ➤ Pensacola's 5th annual Pawdi Gras will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox and will feature vendors, contests, food trucks + adoptable dogs at a themed block party benefiting the county animal welfare department and the Krewe of Hip Huggers. - ➤ A report from the American Customer Satisfaction Index found that Publix lost its title as Florida’s favorite grocery store because Trader Joe’s improved its ratings from a tie last year. - ➤ Two downtown restaurants, Old Palafox and Hour Deli, permanently closed on Jan. 28 after a judge ruled they owed over $10,000+ in rent, forcing lease termination. The eviction left local diners without these familiar spaces that had long served creative fare. Pensacola News Journal

- ➤ The NWS forecast says a deep freeze will hit Pensacola with a cold front arriving Friday afternoon and slight showers before temperatures fall, though no snow is expected as highs will reach about 62°F. - ➤ Florida officials are expanding Bexley boxes to all 67 sheriff’s offices by the end of February to provide essentials and comfort for children waiting at crime scenes (the boxes include items like diapers, wipes, and toys).
