- ➤ Starting Feb. 1, the Escambia County Animal Welfare and Adoption Center will open on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and waive adoption fees on cats and dogs and during Pensacola Paw-di Gras on Garden Street from noon to 4 p.m.; a $15 licensing fee applies for county residents. - ➤ On Saturday, Jan. 31, 429 customers in the Beach Haven area lost power during a frigid night, and FPL said crews worked to restore service by 3:45 p.m. The cause remains under investigation. WEAR-TV
