- ➤ Pensacola will host Mardi Gras festivities starting Thursday, Feb. 12 at the Bay Center with Mardi Gras Mambo headlined by Waka Flocka Flame + Friday sees the Krewe of Lafitte Parade at 7:30 p.m. downtown, and the Grand Mardi Gras Parade will run Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. downtown. WEAR-TV

- ➤ Reimagine Palafox construction is in its fifth week with utility work finished on Feb. 6; Palafox Street will complete May 24 while intersections remain closed until November.
