ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Escambia County Fire Rescue responded around 6 a.m. Tuesday to a house fire caused by a fallen candle—displacing five residents and killing two dogs while one dog escaped—before crews had the flames under control by 6:30 a.m. Pensacola News Journal

- ➤ On March 16th, an 18-year-old woman was charged with battery after a Pensacola Beach parking lot fight was caught on a viral Facebook video — which shows her punching and pulling hair during the altercation — and she was released on a $1,000 bond later that day. WEAR-TV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Chef Sheila McNamee-Mizrachi led a cooking class for ARC clients with disabilities at B'nai Israel Synagogue on March 11, where participants learned to make simple meals like quesadillas and salsa. Reeves announced today that the city has entered into an exclusive agreement with the United Soccer League to study the viability of men’s and women’s professional soccer teams downtown — the USL will invest about $200K to assess market conditions and explore potential sites for a multi-use stadium.
