- ➤ Early Saturday morning, the Gulf Breeze Fire Department recovered the body of a drowning victim near Shoreline Park South after a 911 call Friday night reported a person overboard—officials said the victim's identity is withheld until next of kin are notified. FOX 10

- ➤ On Saturday afternoon, a Black male was shot in the knee cap by another Black male on North Y and Mallory streets near 12:15 p.m. in West Pensacola — the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, said he did not know the shooter, and the suspect left the scene before deputies arrived. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Community Health Northwest Florida launched the Baby Buck program that gives expectant mothers a $10 credit for each prenatal visit at its Women’s Health/OB Care clinic, with the Baby Buck store opening on March 7th. The program aims to improve care and reduce Escambia County’s high infant death and low birthweight rates — funded by a $5,000 grant — while offering a Pregnancy Passport to track appointments.
