Alex Andrade held a heated committee meeting on April 9 and later released a podcast where he said that $10M from a Centene settlement was wrongly sent to the Hope Florida Foundation instead of returned to state coffers. - ➤ Pensacola lawmaker Alex Andrade began a probe after reports showed that a $10M settlement to the Hope Florida Foundation was used to fund groups opposing a recreational pot amendment—actions that may have breached state law requiring settlement funds to go back to general revenue.
