- ➤ The Garden of Peace and Hope on Government Street offered a quiet space for community members to remember loved ones lost to violence. Lavon Brown, president of Parents Against Injustice and Homicide, helped create the memorial after losing her son and the park opened on April 17 to foster healing. Pensacola News Journal
