A Pensacola tenant suffered sewage flooding in her Tiki Lane apartment for two weeks after an overflowing septic tank started backing up three days after she moved in, and her landlord has not responded for nearly a month.

She has contacted local agencies and was forced to shut off her water while the Florida Department of Environmental Protection handles a sanitary nuisance investigation—she hopes for a permanent fix soon.

Just before 3 p.m. Saturday, first responders at Pensacola Beach rescued a juvenile near the Casino Beach Boardwalk and transported them by ambulance to a local hospital — their condition remains unknown.
