- ➤ The Florida Department of Transportation completed a $9M safety project on a 3.6-mile stretch of North Palafox Street from Cervantes to Brent, upgrading traffic signals, curb and gutter, pavement markings and sidewalks meeting ADA requirements. The project also resurfaced US 29, reconstructed an intersection, added 7 foot bicycle lanes with 6 foot shoulders and new crosswalks at key intersections — efforts that boost road safety.
