Life’s A Dance 2025 is a benefit dance showcase honoring our city's founding settler Tristan de Luna that features judge Tristan MacManus, Victor Luna, and others to support a program funding two full years of meals for local students.

The University of West Florida Board of Trustees is set to approve a one-year contract today for interim president Manny Diaz—who will earn a base salary of $643,000, about $107,000 more than former president Martha Saunders and nearly $7,000 less than FAMU President Marva Johnson. The contract requires the UWF Foundation to raise nearly half a million dollars in private funds to cover salary amounts above the state cap.
