- ➤ Yesterday, Pensacola closed Ninth Avenue between East Romana Street and Bayfront Parkway after a stormwater project caused part of the road to crumble—officials said the southbound lane will reopen before tomorrow morning and motorists should follow the detour via East Romana Street.
