City staff will open Roger Scott Pool this summer for open swim hours with a temporary restroom (prebuilt for $673,310) ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.

The update is part of an $840,410 plan that includes pool repairs and other refurbishments.

Flooding has closed several roads in north Santa Rosa and flood warnings remain in effect for nearby rivers; drivers are urged to use alternate routes as water levels are expected to rise.
