- ➤ On July 11th, a dog trapped in a storm drain at 6152 East Bay Blvd. was rescued in Gulf Breeze when Midway Fire District crews (with help from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office) and local residents used a charged hose line (at 7:21 p.m.) and treats to coax it to safety before quickly sheltering it from a sudden downpour. - ➤ The parking lot at the Navarre Beach Boat Ramp is full because of increased boaters drawn by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels airshow on Pensacola Beach—boaters are urged to use alternative launch sites. FOX 10
- ➤ On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Blue Angels and other military and civilian performers took to the skies over Pensacola Beach during the Red, White and Blues Airshow—showcasing precision flying and a patriotic display. Pensacola News Journal
- ➤ The 2025 Pensacola Beach Air Show took place Saturday with pre-show flight demonstrations beginning at 10:30 a.m. and the Blue Angels flying at 2 p.m. over Pensacola Beach—organizers featured several aerial acts in a packed schedule. WEAR-TV
- ➤ Seattle Seahawks star Devon Witherspoon hosted a back to school jamboree at his old school Pine Forest where families received free food, inflatables, backpacks with school supplies, and a raffle for $500 prizes.
