NWFSC received state board approval to offer four new SAAT engineering programs—civil, computer, electrical and mechanical—that let students start an associate degree at its Niceville campus and finish a UWF bachelor’s on the Fort Walton Beach joint campus.

Fort Pickens Management Area remains closed until Monday, July 27 due to sand & standing water from Tropical Storm Bertha, with some roadways showing up to 10 inches of water.

Visitors are advised to check for updates before returning.
