- ➤ Pensacola’s new curbside recycling program faced communication issues when Mayor D.C. Director Daryl Singleton said the program collected 4,000 pounds of recyclables with low contamination and explained that glass is not accepted — officials now use GPS and route monitoring to make up for missed pickups.
