- ➤ A Pensacola man, Jovon Booker, faces federal charges for drug trafficking and money laundering along with a state charge of attempted murder from a 2024 nightclub shooting and will appear for arraignment on Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. at the U.S. Courthouse—his case involves evidence tied to hundreds of thousands of dollars. - ➤ A 56-year-old Holt woman, Kelly Ann Bolton, threatened to shoot up the Sandy Sansing Mazda dealership in Pensacola on June 9 — she was arrested on July 31 in Okaloosa County, released on bond on Aug. 2, and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 18. WEAR-TV
- ➤ A 35-year-old man from Fort Walton Beach pleaded guilty to drug trafficking—supplying cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and marijuana—and money laundering charges and was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison. WEAR-TV
- ➤ A federal indictment alleges that 35-year-old Justin J. Wright from Bay Shore used cyberstalking, extortion, and fire threats against Escambia Clerk Pam Childers—he is set to be arraigned in Pensacola on Sept. 9 at 1:30 p.m. Pensacola News Journal

- ➤ The Pensacola and Perdido Bays Estuary Program released its 2025 report today showing that oyster populations in Pensacola Bay are in critical condition while seagrass beds remain stable.
