- ➤ The Escambia County Sheriff's Office is searching for a driver who fled a traffic stop on Michigan Avenue and then lost control and crashed into a home on Marseille Drive early Saturday morning—deputies say the impact sent the car's front bumper through a brick wall while homeowners remained unharmed and K9 along with a drone unit joined the search. - ➤ On Aug. 30, a Cantonment man fired his gun during an argument with his ex at a Valero gas station—police say he snatched cash and glasses from her, faces felony charges for battery, robbery and weapons offenses, and was released on a $40,000 bond. WEAR-TV
