Pensacola State College Foundation announced a $50,000 Vincent John Whibbs Sr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship to support students in automotive and diesel technology—fields with high demand in our region.

The fund, which includes a $12,500 matching contribution from the PSC Alumni Association, honors former mayor Vincent Whibbs Sr.

On Saturday, the 33rd annual Soul Bowl was held in downtown Pensacola with over 300 youth athletes competing in five age divisions—teams from Southern Youth Sports Association and East Pensacola Rattlers showcased local rivalry—and proceeds were split between city parks.
