  • Five Pensacola area girls volleyball teams advanced to the FHSAA regional tournament, earning spots by winning district championships or receiving at-large bids — Gulf Breeze is the No. 1 seed and will have home-court advantage in its bracket.   • The Fenner Ride will take place on Oct. 25 in Milton with four cycling routes from 18 to 100 miles, beginning at the Clyde L. Gracey Community Center.
