- ➤ Volunteers cleaned up the 16 grave Tippin-Walton Cemetery in a Pensacola subdivision on Nov. 6—clearing brush and debris from the historic site dating back to 1892. Although Escambia County Code Enforcement cleaned it in March, cleanup organizer Laurie Kelley says the cemetery will be overgrown again without a permanent maintenance plan. Pensacola News Journal

- ➤ Biscuit Belly is coming to Pensacola in 2026—owner Clint Dollar plans to open at least three locations in areas including Nine Mile, Cordova, downtown and Gulf Breeze. - ➤ Pensacola will begin the Reimagine Palafox project in January with a 60-day demolition phase as the city starts preventive maintenance on its historic downtown street. The $10.7 million project—funded by city boards, parking revenue, and FPL contributions—will upgrade sidewalks, drainage, and ADA access while keeping local businesses supported until the street reopens in May.
