Pensacola Navy Days returns this spring to honor the military heritage of our community with events that began with Gallery Night on April 18 and continue with a Blue Wahoos game on April 24, a golf tournament and gala on May 9, and a family fun fest on May 10.

The event is presented by Navy Federal Credit Union and the Pensacola Ice Flyers (focusing on a strong bond with Naval Aviation Station Pensacola and all local military branches).

The Blue Angels will practice six times in May at NAS Pensacola with a viewing area on the Museum Flight Line north of the National Naval Aviation Museum.

Public gates open at 9 a.m. each day and practice begins at 10:30 a.m.—call ahead as times may change.

Gregory St. has served fondue since 2001 and now has a new owner, Rob Arias, who is refreshing the menu with a three-course weekend brunch and new craft cocktails—Happy Hour now offers half-priced fondue and $8 drinks. The remodeled bar area is set to welcome both new and longtime guests as the restaurant begins its fresh chapter.

A Pensacola man, Christopher Alonse Cobb, Jr., 20, was arrested on five counts of trafficking fentanyl on April 16 after a six-month investigation began in October 2024; authorities say controlled purchases uncovered nearly a quarter pound of fentanyl and led to the seizure of a stolen 9mm Glock 23, ammunition, and cell phones.

The Pensacola Crawfish Festival will be held downtown from April 25 to 27 at Seville Square & Fountain Park — featuring boiled crawfish, Cajun dishes, and live music.

Admission costs are $5 per day for adults, $2 for kids ages 6 to 12, and free for kids 5 and younger — with food and drink options available from local partners.

Pensacola Beach drivers should expect delays next week on April 24 and April 25 as FDOT crews inspect the Bob Sikes Bridge with lanes set to reopen on April 26—tolls will be collected electronically and no cash is accepted.

A budget proposal would cut NOAA’s funding by 27% in 2026—slashing money for weather labs, climate research and hurricane hunter missions as the Atlantic hurricane season nears.

The changes will reduce the accuracy of storm forecasts and leave coastal communities and farmers with less critical climate data.

More than a dozen Pensacola restaurants will be open tomorrow—April 20—with special brunch and dinner menus, chef specials and Easter-themed activities like egg hunts and Bunny photos.
